Bug - Animation Storyboards Not Selectable as Base Views

Hi,

I'm working on a project where I need to create a model, create three animation storyboards for exploded and assembly views, then insert all three of these views into a drawing sheet. Previously, this worked fine.

I updated Fusion this morning (30/05/2024) and now when I try to insert the base view, I have only two options, instead of my three. I have checked that my 3D file is saved and updated correctly, I've tried restarting Fusion twice, I've tried making changes and updating the drawing. Nothing has worked so far.

My Animation tab includes four storyboards, titled 000-A. 000-B, 000-C and 200-A. For this drawing, I need the three 000 storyboards. When I load into the drawing, I try to insert a base view from a storyboard and I only have the option to insert 000-A and Storyboard2.

I have attached images of my issues. I have also raised a support ticket, but I thought I'd post here in case anyone else has this issue.

Thanks,

Ed

Hi @PentaPatterns ,
Apologies that you are facing as issues. Can you please share the f3z file to investigate this?

Thanks,

Hi @Pramod.kadam ,

Thanks, but I'm afraid I can't upload the file because of the NDA I am under. I was on the phone to Autodesk Support this morning, and they walked me through resetting Fusion which normally fixes issues. For anyone looking at this in the future, I went to the help tab (question mark in the top right of the window), then Support and Diagnostics, then Service Utility. I then used the Reset Fusion and Repair Fusion options. This didn't seem to have an effect on my issue, but it may work for others.

When I tried to create a new file that I can upload here to demonstrate the problem, I did not have the same issue, which makes me wonder if it is an issue with parts carried over from a previous version of Fusion to this latest one, as the issue still persists in the original file.

Hi @PentaPatterns ,

You can share the file directly with me on pramod.kadam@autodesk.com. Also if this design was exported from the configurations, I will suggest you to re-export that again and try creating drawing for new exported design.

Thanks,
