I have this shape and want to make the body's surface wavy or make some structures on it. How can I do it? All tutorials I have found were on rounded bodies.

It seems that this can be achieved by freeform modeling - split into a dense mesh and scale every other vertex to the center.
But as a rule - you should first plan the effect and only then start modeling. This effect is very easy to achieve using Loft. Sketch a wavy perimeter at the top, trim the shape at the bottom and add a Loft wall between the smooth and wavy edges.

If you can share your model and perhaps an image that looks similar to the effect you want to achieve, that would also be very helpful.
A paper/pencil sketch would also work well.
