Break Link Error - The selected instance has some essential dependent instances.

Hi

Ok, i had this problem before, but with a more complex assembly and i understood the problems then.

But now i have an imported very simple body with no timeline and only some base features and i am getting this error again.

Is there a way to break the link to that part? I am working with a lot of imported parts, need to assemble them and make a rendered cut thru these.

It would be a pain in the ass the cut every component separately because i cant break these links

Again....

but this time it was like this:

I inserted a part and breaked the like without problems.

I started rendering with different views and then fusion crashed (i think because of my low end computer)

After restarting fusion the part was not inside my assembly anymore, there was no recovery.

I inserted the part again but now i cant break the link anymore because of the error in the topic.

Found the solution myself.

After inserting a part you must not move it into another component because then there is a timeline entry.

Breaking the link directly after inserting everythink is fine
