Hi, I am curious if anyone else out there is running into this same issue. I am trying to insert press brake bend lines into my prints in the drawing portion of Fusion 360. Any answer will help. Thanks

Hi Timothy,

sorry you're having issues with drawings in Fusion 360.

Can you describe your workflow?

Also an image of your Fusion drawing would be useful to understand more about your problem.

Thanks,

I would like to represent a bend line setup for a pressbrake. The attached pdf is an example of a flat shape and a formed shape. I would like to put a bend line into the flat shape to show where you have to set the pressbrake up to bend the part.

Hi @timothy.erickson - you need to create a flat pattern of your sheetmetal component first, and then you can insert the flat pattern (with bend lines included) into your Drawing.

What type of line signifies a 'bend line'? I can't work this out.

Share your project if you can't figure it out.

Create Drawing and choose 'Selection' instead of 'All'.

Select the Flat Pattern you want to make the Drawing of

After you insert your desired Base View, expand that part in the Browser Tree

Turn On Sketches.

Doing this displayed Bend Lines generated by the Flat Pattern.

@JDMather Doesn't directly answer your Line Type question but rather the Thread question (I'm curious about Line Type as well)
