Beginner modeling question - Align a curved face to another curved face

There might be an easy answer but i didn't find a suitable answer in the forums so i try my luck by posting. 
Is it possible in solid mode to align face 2 (seen in the screenshots) to face 1 by manipulating it with some kind of curve-modifier? 

I would know a workaround in polymodeling but i wanted to know if something like this is even possible with solids.

Hi Sam,

here´s one way to go:

1. create new sketch and project the others into it

2. delete & edit the curves to be "parallel"
