I am very new and I created a spray paint can in Fusion 360 (which took forever to figure out). I would like to make it into a maker holder with a lid that opens and closes. I have watched many videos but can't seem to find the right type of hinge to make so it opens and closes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have added a photo of the can I created.

Please attach your model efforts, up to this point, to a Forum reply. If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Cleaned your model up quite a bit since you need Components to create the finished model. You still have the necessary bodies, under each component, to created your 3D print from. I also cleaned up your logo and make it a part of the bottom can. You need to learn to create a component, activate it, then do your sketches and bodies. This will keep the sketches and bodies under the component they belong to. Remember to activate the top level before creating each new component. If you would like a short video on this, let me know. As I mentioned in the Screencast, I believe a small cut brad would make a good hinge pin. Your model is so small I hope it is what you want. The total height is less then 1 inch! Model is attached.

I did a quick Screencast on creating Components so the sketches and bodies fall under the component in the Browser. There are other methods of doing this and you will find them as you go along. I suggest you use the Fusion 360 Self-Paced Learning to get a good start. You will find it as indicated in my screen capture below. You should also feel free to come back to the Forum to ask your questions, there are a lot of talented people here trying to help. Just come early, do not let a problem get the best of you before you seek help.
As far as your model. I do not do 3D printing but to scale the model that much, using the 3D application seems wrong. Why not model it the correct size to begin with? Does the scaling distort the model? As far as the Pin for the hinge. I still believe that a small finishing nail, cut off, will make a nice hinge pin. I do know 3D printing has tolerances and trying to model a printed pin can be challenging. By the way, I did not leave any tolerance between my created hinge so you may want to add a little if needed.
