Hi, no it for a project I am currently working on. The Cylinder Cam is for
a revolving cam actuator that needs to be guided. Its for a prototype low
rpm high torque electrical turbine. Your help would be greatly

Hello, I'm a bit hung up on creating a barrel cam as I am new to this.  I have drawn what you have for the barrel cam, but not sure how to connect all the dots using spline. How are you using spline to connect to each point on all plane levels?

Here is the screencast I created in one of the barrel cam threads. Be aware though that this does not create entirely correct geometry. it was pointed out and corrected in one of the other threads that are linked to in this thread (I believe)

I did just like your video showed and I got it to work just fine.  One thing I didn't have clicked in the sketch palette was the 3D Sketch.  My boss thought that was a pretty clever way of doing a cam and will apply that principle towards other applications.
