Automatically selection of faces

It would be good, if u could select automatically all tangential or all round faces.

So u could use it for programing and faster select special faces.

Example:

Click on one round face and then choose, select automatically all faces with the same radius as the choosen one or select all faces in the range from this and to this radius.

And second

Click on one face in an Body and then choose, select automatically all tangential faces from the choosen one.

Hi! I could be wrong but I thought this ability already existed. Select a face -> quickly double-click it. All the tangent faces will be selected. Is it not working for you?

Many thanks!

double click selects the component as a whole

It's not working.

I'm selecting one face, then double clicking it, but it always selects the whole component.

Hi! I am sorry I was mistaken. I thought double-clicking selected all tangentially continuous faces.

Many thanks!

Why was this taken from the idea board?

What do you want to do with the faces after selection? If you want to delete them there are Simplify tools you can enable in preferences.
