Automatic Point Numbering?

I have a pentakis dodecahedron and I need to number all 1922 intersecting points on the shape so I can create an LED coordinates map. Is there an easy way to number a point or surface? Preferably automatically.

To give you some background, I used the selection set function to map out how the wires will run between the LEDs. Now I need to number each one and assign it an XY position on the flat plane.

No such "function" is available through the UI, but Fusion's Python API might be useful for such a task.
You'd have to ask for more specifics in that forum section.
