Hi Stephen,

the browser will only show that the forum is unsafe if I access it through the help menu inside of Fusion 360 itself.

That was how I was first directed to the forum and I bookmarked that visit, when I searched for the forum and navigated to it through Google search I do not get the warning and the padlock is there as normal.

The problem is related to using the link found in the help menu in Fusion 360, Help – Community Forum.

I have not tried any other settings as I have bookmarked the forum link from Google and do not use the one from the help menu inside of Fusion 360.

Created a Screencast.

Went to Manage Screencast and the survey popped up (I get this about 30 times a day, but have never bothered to complete it until this time.)

Came back to the forum to embed the Screencast code - and guess what pops up again.....

(I use as many as 4 or 5 different computers in day and a couple of different usernames.  This was on one computer with same log-in and minutes apart.)

Edit:  I take that back - I closed browser for the survey to show.  So I did log in again to get back to the forum.

That's no good - thanks @JDMather - curious, are you running your browser in private mode, or have any add-in's that help protect your privacy when browsing?

The hilarious thing about this is that when I try to take the survey (thinking that that will get rid of the box forever), it says the survey is not active or valid or something!!!!!

Thanks Stuart and CX2.  Let me dig in a bit deeper with the team on Monday to see if we can get to the bottom of it... I can understand how frustrating all of the survey pop-ups must be.

One question, can you both confirm that you are not running in any kind of privacy mode, per the post from Stephen here?

I got it coming up again the last few days, and if I select participate it says the survey is unavailable!

Also @roambotics_scott has a request to stop asking if the surveys finished on the ideastation.

I've escalated this issue, thanks for the heads-up @JDMather @HughesTooling.

All - I believe we've finally nailed down the root issue related to the surveys.  It turns out there were two survey prompts turned on (one of which was mis-categorized, and should have been off), and one that was pointing to a dead survey.  Please give it a a few hours, and let me know if you're still experiencing the same problems.

If you're running in a private browsing mode, or have add-in's enabled that hide your browsing history, you may likely still receive prompts (although it should not point to a dead survey).

Thanks for your patience and help in trying to track this one down!

As a general note, a survey popup that blocks all interaction with the website is intrusive and annoying, and the survey box pops up every time I visit an Autodesk website.   Every time.   Please find another way to do whatever it is you think you're accomplishing with these things.

Hi @revitpeon - apologies that you're seeing the survey so frequently!  At the absolute most, you should not be seeing a Web survey from us more than once a month.

Some users in the past who were frequently seeing surveys discovered that they were using some form of blocker that prevented cookies from being stored.  Unless you allow those cookies, the surveys will not know if you have seen the pop up previously.
