Hey there, there was no category for this, but I think it's the closest

I've been using 123D Design for a while now, and have been having problems lately. Im on a windows 8 laptop with 8 GB of ram and an Intel Core i5-3337U processor and an Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics card. I just updated to R1.6.41 64bit, and it installed just fine. However, when I run it, I get the "this program has stopped working" error message. I have reinstalled it multiple times, and have redownloaded it twice. I've checked multiple sources for solutions but it's been to no avail. Any suggestions?

Hi Mark

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction I have now download Fusion 360. I am not sure how to use it yet so I need some advise really. I have go a letter 'S' in an stl format and need the edges of the face rounding off by 5mm, is this something that can be done?

I can email you the stl file if you require it to have a look as it will not attached here.

Please advise.

Thanks.

STL is not a good format to work with, you will be better of remodeling in Fusion. Is the AI file you attached the artwork for the letters? If it is can you save as a SVG, try a search for illustrator and SVG and you'll find help.

Yes the ai file I attached yesterday are the letters I am trying to work with. I can save the letters as an svg from illustrator and then import into Fusion, is that way to go about it?

When I do that how do I extrude the letter and round the edges? I don't really know hoe to navigate around the Fusion programme yet thats all I am finding a little difficult.
