Question about new Sketch camera behaviors

In 2.0.1351 when you create a sketch on a plane while in Model mode the camera reorients itself to face that sketch plane.

Is there a way to turn that off? I've rarely felt like I needed to "face" a sketch when sketching. This new behavior is very disruptive for me - it's exceedingly rare that I need to face a sketch. It's also odd that this behavior would be considered useful when my camera view is in perspective mode. Also bothersome - if I create a sketch on a plane that as a lot of geometry "in front" of the plane, that geometry blocks my view and often the entire sketch plane because of the perspective camera.

You can turn it off in the preferences

Under General > Design just uncheck the box labelled "Auto look at sketch"

Thanks for the snappy reply. That's exactly what I needed.

Glad that helped. That behavior is one of those things you can't get right for everybody and that's why it's there to be changed
