Windows 10

I know, I know...

Anyway, for whatever reason I can't install Fusion in the Win 10 preview at the moment, I know they recently made some kernel version change which might be upsetting it. I realize Windows 10 is probably not anywhere on your radar for now but If anyone there knows or if anyone else playing with Win 10 has had problems or success I'd like to hear.

Thanks!

Windows 10 is not a supported OS, but what error message are you receiving?

Could you attach the %localappdata%\Autodesk\autodesk.webdeploy.streamer.log file to this thread? It should contain some helpful information.

Also, you may want to go through the clean uninstall procedure if you have not tried it yet.

Thanks,

Working Again!

Thanks for the quick and detailed fix to this. I know Windows 10 isn'tt supported, however, I'm working with both Win 8.1 and Win 10 as well as OSX so I like ot make sure things are working on all so If I find potential problems I can update whomever may need to know or try to find fixes (this is what testing is for after all). It would appear there was some issue with the latest update overwriting the older one. It's the first time this has happened which was why I was asking if others were also testing Windows 10 to determine if it was Windows or my machine that had the problem.

Thankfully it was nothing more than older files with their panties in a bunch about something.

Again, Thanks.

I'm on Windows 10 too and F360 has been working great for me until the Jan 16 update to F360. Now the program won't launch.

Hello codefoster,

we are sorry to hear that you are unable to run Fusio after Jan 16 update. We had some issue related to that update.

But I have just tried to install and run Fusion360 on VMware image with Win10 system and it works fine for me.

Could you please try to uninstall Fusion360 completely using these steps link and install it again to see if the problem still persists?

Regards,

Josef
