Authentication error when launching Fusion 360

Getting this issue when trying to run a trial version of Fusion 360 on my Windows 7 PC. It is a corporate PC.

"The application has encountered an unexpected authentication error and must be quit."

I had previously installed and run Fusion 360 on this PC a few months ago, then deleted it. This new version was downloaded using a commercial promo code.

I have tried downloading and installing using my home wifi (no proxy) as well as through corporate network, which does use a proxy. Get same issue both ways. I can log in to https://myhub.autodesk360.com just fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I had a smiliar issue with fusion yesterday, and it was resolved once is ran the application with admin rights.

But, again today I'm having the same issue, and even running with admin rights is not helpful, the following error shows up. I haven't changed any settings since yesterday.

P.S: I use my college internet which is proxy enabled.

@Gangula2 It seems like Fusion may not be able to communicate through the proxy.

If you are switching back and forth between a proxy and direct environment the solution in the below link has been known to help.

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Fus...

Toggling the auto-proxy detect in the OS may help.

Windows
1. Browse to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Internet Options
2. In the  Connections tab, select LAN settings
3. Try to Enable/Disable a Automatically detect settings option
4. Apply the changes and retest

Finally, if these suggestions do not help, please manually collect the log files from your system and share them with us. The below link outlines how to collect these files.

I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
