Assembling different designs in different files like solid work

Hi all,

I was working on one shape in one file and one design in another file.
I want to cut the shape in the design, but they are in two different files.
How can I assemble the pieces that are each in a different file?
I could do this on solid works, but I can't find the function that allows me to add the two designs that are in different files together in one file/place.

Thank you!

Open the file you want to insert these designs into.

In the data panel right-click on one of thos designs to select them and then left click and selec insert into current design.

However, be advised that the Fusion 360 design paradigm is different from the Solid Works design.

Solid Works separates between Assembly and Component files, Fusion 360 does not.

In Fusion 360 you can desing a complex assembly with all components is a single file.
