Hi,

Is it possible to manage appearances in libraries?

It looks like it is possible to copy soem edited materials in his own library, but how to manage folders and categories.

It looks like these one depends of the original shader edited, but is it possible to define his own?

on the other hand, is it possible to share this Library in the cloud to make it available to all the users of the Project/Team?
Many Thanks.

Hi,

I’m sorry, but I don’t understand what you mean.
I know the desktop connector and how to share files using this way. But I don’t see how to save an appearance from Fusion in the desktop folder…

Hi @jean-michel_legoff ,

Hope you have watched the screencast  Fusion 360: Creating a sharable appearance library.

Using Material Browser user can add material and appearance to local folder.

but now is it possible too, to attach physical material properties to that appearance?

so when the appearance is applied physical material too?

And is it also possible to have a link to sheet metal properties?

I think the usual process is the opposite.

You create you material (properties) and assign an Appearance to the Material.
