Any way to define custom shape hole?

Hi, I wonder if there is any way to define a custom shape hole for the hole tool, which would be available throughout the whole project?

The situation - we make a lot of fabrications, and our company is trialling hex rivet nuts on one assembly. The holes are the same throughout design - 11.1mm hexagonal hole, BUT there is ~160 holes to define throughout the whole assembly, which contains~30 different panels with those holes.

I will probably end up doing all those holes this time manually sketching 160 hex holes, but it would be great to somehow to automate this. If we decide that hex holes is a go to for our designs, I will start having hex shaped nightmares!

Will you laser cut these hex holes or turret punch?

You could create only one hex as a component and save it out to the cloud and place or place and pattern where ever you would like.  Take a look at the Blog Article and Video to see better what I am talking about.

Thanks, this sounds like a potential solution for the situation. A single geometry reference throughout the project.
