Hey Claas - saw this bug and the other TS one you reported, many thanks!  Curious though, are you sending these to the support.fusion360@autodesk.com email?  In general we're looking at a few methods to help everyone better submit (and track) bugs and issues, but in the short-term submitting to that email address will help keep the forum a bit more focused on how-to's, workflows, etc.  Here is a link to Keqing's post for reference:  http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/design-and-documentation/how-to-best-report-issues/td-p/5722215

@brianrepp

sure I can do that of course

So why dont you just create a forum section for tech support and bug reporting.

Most other software companies have it.

@cekuhnen, you're one step ahead of me 🙂  In response to "So why dont you just create a forum section for tech support and bug reporting", that's one of the approaches we're considering per my comment "In general we're looking at a few methods to help everyone better submit (and track) bugs and issues".

that could be a nice way to separate all the problem reports from all others.

In Blender where I am active as well they have the forum set-up that way and it works great

because eveything support related just stays inside one section.

I find that a good method because this also gives other users to search for problems instead

of double sending emails to you and users with similar problmes can also post to the same thread.

Very often when I see OS X crash threads I read it because on my side Fusion 360 iin 2015 runs incredible

stable compared to when it came out 2 years ago. My experience regarding stability is at large just positive

and thus often I am curious if I should let others now that on my old 2008 Mac Fusion runs like an ace.

And without a support forum I would not be able to do so.

Hi @cekuhnen

I opened your file and I can't reproduce the issue.

Did you by chance delete that edge and the undo the delete to bring it back?

I've see that cause this issue.

@colin.smith

I did nothing to it. Exported it as is.

Also in the video you can see when I import it again then oddly it works. I have the suspission this might be a hard bug to find similar to Erics case

where a simple loopcut just fails. Were you able to reporuce that one?

I've also come across this before. The workaround was to switch from smooth to faceted view for the control cage and then I was able to select the edge.

It also seems ot be somewhrt hard to reproduce.
