Align point-to-point BUT only on one axis

Hello there,

two corner brackets are already aligned except for Z (vertical) axis via point-to-point move tool. I want to align it with the profile center by Z axis but keep the X and Y alignments.

Thanks in advance,

best regards

generally, you wouldn't use align or move for this purpose.  you would use a joint on a component.
