Align edge/vertices to specific Y position

fusion.gifHello

As you see above in the image, this body's corner vertex is misaligned to the rest of the vertices regarding the Y coordinate. I wanted to align the marked vertex to be at the same height as the vertex to the left, before the slope. In poly modeling this is just a matter of 3 seconds moving the edge up. Here, I tried moving it to no avail with the move tool. Either all of the vertices in body moved up or none moved at all. How is it done? Or is there an easier way to fix that?

How did you design this? Did you use a Form to design this? You can move the vertices of your sketch but can't move the vertices of your model in Model Workspace.

I just made an initial sketch and then extruded, no Form. That part in question was extruded from a body, so I can't go in sketch mode. I don't know why that face ended up oblique. Any other way to fix that?

Ah, I see. So can you upload the file so that I can see what is happening in detail?

Sure! The first image refers to the side view of the marked spot below:

The plane you drew sketch 4 is not vertical to the top plane of your model. So instead of moving the plane, I created offset plane to cut the model, and drew a sketch on that plane. Check the attached file.

Thank you! I understood what you did. Nice to know how to solve that kind of issue.
