Adding a new material into the overall Autodesk material library?

hi,

 i need to use some materials like EN 22 or MS 226 for some parts of my assembly and hence need to import or download these metals into the material library. can u tell me how to do that if that option is available?

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Welcome!

 

Right now it's not possible to download materials to Fusion 360 like that, but you can create custom materials by copying an existing material and changing the values. This screencast gives a quick walk-through of how to do this, and this article goes through how to do this in the Render space (materials are available in both the Render space and the Model space). Hope that helps!
