Adding a link too a pdf drawing.

Hi!

Is it possible to add a link somewhere in the a360/data panel to a pdf file?

So I dont have to search in the windows explorer everytime I need to check a pdf drawing on a part Im working on.

Since exporting a PDF produces a locally stored file, I'm not really seeing a way to link a PDF to a drawing that is stored in A360. I suppose you could:

1. Export the PDF

2. Upload it to the A360 Dashboard

3. Share a public link of the PDF file

4. Add the public link to the comments of the detail view in A360.

You can already view the drawing the detail view in the Autodesk 360 Dashboard, so this seems a bit redundant. Can you clarify more about the intent here? Why view the PDF's vs. drawings in the dashboard? If I can better understand what you are after, perhaps I can find a better recommendation.

Thanks,

I totally missed that you can upload a pdf to the dashboard!
That is what I was looking for. 😉

It's for havning access to a drawing in pdf even when I'm not on the computer that has the pdf locally stored.

Only issue now is that there will be alot more files in the datapanel directorys. Ive have to find a way to organize it better. 🙂

Thanks!
