Add/Remove icon on Raspberry case

Hello

I'm totally new to Fusion 360, "etfrench" helped me on another topic, but this time I would like to get rid of the icon on top of a raspberry case like in this model :

https://gallery.autodesk.com/fusion360/projects/raspberry-pi-3-2-or-bplus-case

An easy way would be to delete everything regarding the icon including the extrusion (I mean the hole created), but I'm having a hard time to do this.

I would like to add then an icon of mine like this one, and play with it (extruding etc) :

Again that's not easy to do, I tried first to write something and I only succeed to make an extrusion.

If someone could helped me 🙂

Mickael.

If you can share your model that'd be great.

hi mickael,

first, welcome to Fusion.

in order to get rid of an existing logo, I'm going under the assumption that you are using the model in the link you provided to by Adam Molnar.

under the Collector component in the browser turn off the Logo, since it's a separate component.

Next create a sketch on the top face of the box and you'll get two distinct profiles: one "outside" the logo and one of the logo itself.

Extrude the logo profile to the thickness of the box lid top, inside surface. (tip:  pull the manipulator arrow down, release the mouse and left mouse click and hold over the main surface to get a depth selector window and select the first face., the t's the inside one)  Your operation should be set to join in the dialog and you've filled the hole.

For the logo your bst beet is to try and get it into a vector artwork form:  Adobe Illustrator, EPS, SVG, etc.

Ultimately you want the SVG format and then insert the SVG into a sketch, scale and place where you like and you should be able to use it just like any sketch profile in Fusion.

hope this helps.

hope this helps,

Thanks for your answer, not sure I understood what you told me to do, but I managed to fill the hole by creating a box and extruding it to close the hole...
