Add components to an existing pattern

I would like to be able to easily add more components to an already existing (circular) pattern. The component I'd like to add is created before the pattern. Fusion won't let med add it even though the "selection indicator" is blue.

If I deselect the Axis, all of a sudden I can add more components. But then I have to select the axis again.

I could of course delete the pattern and create a new one, but I think it would be a lot easier to just add more compoments to an existing pattern.

Am I missing something? What is your workflow for situations like these?

You need to hold down CTRL (CMD on Mac) to add to the components in a component pattern:  This behavior is pretty uniform all across Fusion

Great! Didn't think of that since you don't need to do that when creating a pattern containing multiple components.
