3D Spline with constraints?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I'm trying to create a 3d spline that has constraints (let's say coincident constraints and tangent curvature constraints) with geometries in other planes. It seems like I can only create constraints that are in the same plane as the original plane of my 3d spline. That seems very limiting. Does anybody know how this can be achieved? Thanks!

@Anonymous,

We do not have 3D constraints in sketch yet.  There are several project that team will be starting later this year to address 3D sketching.

Hi Mike,

I was looking for this feature too. Are there any developments regarding the 3D constraints?

With splines the coincident, tangent and smooth constraints do work in 3D space.
