Untill now I worked with sketch in MODEL.

In MODEL in the sketch pallette you can allow to make 3D sketches.

As far as I tried that isn't working

Is this a bug??

going to SCULPT

Here I can create a 3D sketch

Not been in PATCH yet

there you can make a sketch also

Is there an instruction available when to work where??

regards,

Pieter

Never used that feature before. But it works for me. I just tick the corresponding option on. And viola:

The sketch engine is the same whether you're in Model, Sculpt or Patchmode.

When sketching by default you start sketching on a plane, so in 2D. However the sketch engine in Fusion 360 is in essence a 3D engine.

If you want to move a sketch element, such as a spline point into the 3D space you'll have to use the move tool.
