3D extrusion

Hi,

I want to make an oddly-angled sketch in 3D and subsequently make a body out of it. I guess extruding would be the way to go, but I cannot seem to extrude to another sketch plane. See below screenshot for the shape. Does anybody know whether this can be done / how to do this?

P.S. I am doing this as I am looking for clearly angled (instead of rounded, smooth) shapes which I cannot make in the sculpting mode as it will provide errors when finishing the form. If you know a way to do this, please let me know 🙂

Thanks!

Have you watched the video tutorials in the Support and Learning section ?

I'd start with that and then come back.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

It looks to me like you are missing a line.

Will Patch and Stitch work?

Thanks, I have looked at it before, but didn't realize how rich in info it was. Will review those!

You are correct indeed. This was just a sketch to visualise my question, so no need to improve this model. Thanks though!
