3 dimensional strip in the shape of an 8 with offset (0,0,0) vertical levels.

I am trying to make an 8 shape of a vertical strip of 2 cm, crossing using a vertical offset instead of cutting through. This results in a bending of the surface, kind of what you have in a mobius strip.
I am trying to do it using a sweep, but since the 2 circles making up the 8 are not perpendicular to the axes, I don't know how to do this.
