2D Drawing questions

I would like to know if it is possible to use GD&T symbology for adding true position, profile of surface, etc. Just about everything in the aerospace Industry is toleranced using GD&T. I didn't find any option to do so.

Also adding Windows symbols while adding text into the drawing?

And last but not least, Is there a way to make a custom drawing layout, ie., title block and border

Hi mlhoffman,

Thank you for looking at drawings.  The short answer is these options are not available yet, but we have a team working on enhancing the current drawings functionality and all of these requests (GD&T, text editing, and custom/user supplied titleblocks) are on our roadmap.  If you take a look at the Drawings forum, you'll see some other requests for GD&T as well as other Feature Requests .  The drawings team reviews all the feature requests and is taking them into consideration when prioritizing what to work on next.

We're actively working on and rolling out new features as they become ready, and you will see continued enhancements and new functionality in upcoming releases.  It hasn't been updated yet, but you can check the Roadmap for what's coming in the next few updates.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi @Anonymous,

I just wanted to follow up with you on this thread to make sure you're aware that we added a new feature in the July 22nd update of Fusion 360 that allows you to insert an image/Logo into a title block. We are continuing to work on enhancing the title block experience, and you can expect to be able to upload your own dwg title block for use in Drawings in an update soon as well - but I hope that the ability to add in a logo is also helpful in the meantime.

For more information on this new feature, check out the help section: http://fusion360.autodesk.com/learning/learning.html?guid=GUID-B4BC813B-8697-4632-B57E-AC1E582E8C7A

Let us know your thoughts / questions / concerns, and thanks for contributing to the community!

Best,

Timera
