2 sketch profiles on top of each other when editing a sketch

When I edit a sketch sometimes, the sketch profile turns into 2 sketch profiles on top of each other. This is only 1 sketch, and nothing is projected on the sketch.

I've attached a photo and a video showing the case.

What's the reason for this, and how can I remove one profile and prevent it from happening again?

Thank you.

and nothing is projected on the sketch. (By you - Fusion did it)

Invisible projected lines strikes again.

Your Sketch was created on a smaller face, not a plane.  Fusion and your preferences have combined to Project the face into the sketch when created, Fusion hides the boundary articles and shows the profile.  Takes a while to understand it.

Turn off Auto project on sketch create, if you don’t need it, if you do, turn off the body after creating the sketch to confirm the profile has arrived as required.

Might help....
