Is Fusion using the Forge platform?

Team,

As a new user to Fusion, I'm a bit lost on the underlying engine. Is Fusion using the Forge Platform. I've been hearing it does, just want to verify.

Thanks

Fusion 360 itself runs locally on your desktop but it stores the designs you create on A360.  Forge provides an API to let you access data on A360.  It lets you do things like view and translate that data.  Forge does not provide the ability to create a Fusion 360 model, you use Fusion 360 for that and can automate that process by using the Fusion 360 API.

Fusion largely predates Forge, so it is dependent on a lot of the same internal services that Forge is implemented on.  However Fusion does use some Forge services, and will increasingly do so in the future.
