Adding Gear teeth to a shape

i need to make a logarithmic gear for a project i am doing at school and i have made the shape but i need to add teeth around the perimeter of the shape, the spur gear add-in wouldn't work because the radius is constantly changing.

Hi,

I think you can't create Logarithmic gear using Spur gear add-in. what you can do is, create your own design and 1 teeth of gear then you can  make a pattern of it using "pattern on path" . I am not good at designing but you can see attached image. I hope this is what you are trying to do. You can see the timeline for that design.
