Fusion 360 not responding after launching

I recently tried to open fusion 360 and it would not respond. Below are the solutions that I have tried:

  • Restarting computer
  • Switching HDMI and other video ports
  • Installing Autodesk Desktop App
  • Reinstalling Autodesk Fusion 360
  • Updating and checking all drivers and windows updates
  • Running virus scans using Hitman Pro
  • Using the Fusion 360 Utility to repair and reset Fusion 360
  • Starting Fusion 360 as Administrator

If you have any more solutions that might help, please let me know. Here is a picture of what Fusion 360 looks like when it begins to crash. My system should be able to handle Fusion 360 and have run it without trouble before. Fusion360notresponding.png

Hi @wilsonpetersen111

Do you have 2 graphics card installed? If it is, please disable one from Device manager, launch fusion 360, and then enable back again.

Besides the things you tried, please try this:

  1. Check for any AntiVirus or Firewall restrictions.
  2. Check the Ports and Domains required by Fusion 360

Troubleshoot network connectivity issues:

Manually Reinstall or Update Fusion 360

  1. Download the installation file using this link (the download process should start automatically).
  2. Run downloaded Fusion 360 Client Downloader.
  3. Install Fusion 360.
  4. Start Fusion 360.

Note: This solution may be helpful when the automatic update is not possible.

Windows account issues:

  1. Create a Windows user performing the steps on the following Microsoft web page: Create a user account in Window.
  2. Install Fusion 360 on the new Account.
  3. Start and test Fusion 360.

Check for multiple instances of Fusion 360

  1. If multiple Fusion 360 windows are open, close all instances.
  2. Start Fusion 360.
  3. Pin the active shortcut.
  4. Unpin any other shortcuts.

Please click on Accept Solution so other community members can see how to solve the issue.
Also, consider giving a Like to the comments that you feel helped you.

@wilsonpetersen111 @Can you please go to the service utility and run the system info and attach the diagnostic files?

also in the windows time and date , can you check if the system has automatic time turned on and if it is not, turn it on to see if that helps?
