Fusion Mac. I just tried to share a link to a model in my data pane, and got this dialog box. Which can't be closed, and leaves Fusion unresponsive (It is not even possible to quit Fusion, I needed to force-quit it from the OS)
(I am not sure _why_ it said that the file could not be found, it was there in the data pane, and the file opened without issues after I restarted Fusion)
I haven't had the problem re-occur.
But a video wouldn't show much. One click on the data pane, then a dialog box with no exit button. Then a force restart of Fusion.
Well, it happened again.
Much the same. I saved the design, then right-clicked in the data pane on the design to create a sharing link.
The file does exist. After restarting Fusion I created a working link with exactly the same workflow.
I remembered that you were keen to see video, but wasn't prescient enough to start the video before the problem occurred. But please beleive me when I say that only one right mouse click is missing.
My previous statement that I had to force-quit Fusion was false. The Fusion main window is completely unresponsive, but I was still able to quit Fusion from the main menu. (On MacOS the menu is not part of the main window)
It seems to me that the fix should start with idenitifying the dialog box that is raised, and then working out why it can;t be closed or acknowledged.
Hi @andypugh ,
Could you please share your Web Services and App log file?
You can find the instructions to collect logs here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-t...
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing the log files. I will take a look at them.
Do you by any chance recall when you faced the issue (Date and approx. time)? It can help me narrow down the logs I need to scan through.
Were you able to reproduce it again after the second time?
This still happens, a few weeks ago, and just now.
I am a hobby user, this correlates to being about 50% of the time that I attempt to share a link.
