Viewing long file names in the Data Panel

Viewing long file names in the Data Panel can be a lengthy process...

This problem could be solved in a variety of ways. however the Two that seem to be best fitting are as follows (in order of suitability). 

• Wrapping the Text within the White portion of the folder/Part.- Easiest and instantaneous ability to read the required information option and doesn't impact the rest of the screen. 
• Manually being able to scale the data panel. - there is no reason it cant take up a larger percentage of the screen, particularly because when in use that is where your focus of attention is and when not in use it can be hidden... With this said simply making it larger wouldn't work for all parties. having the ability to manually enlarge it would suit all. but only if this options uncovers the hidden portion of the file names.

Yes this would be useful as the last letters or figures of a part name can make all the difference so need to be seen ideally.

i.e. A version or revision number on the end of a part name and description.

e.g. Part Number - Description of the Part - v1.1.A

The last figure/numbers need to be seen.

This was always that every time annoyed me as well! PleaseFusion find a way to deal with longer project/folder/design names!

Also, to make things worse, the web view is no better. It also truncates names. 

So, there is currently no way to view a list of long names. 

( I guess other than exporting all the files and then viewing the list of files in a file browser. Kidding of course.)

Yeah, this is incredibly frustrating.  I have multiple versions of the same file (differentiated by a revision suffix) all with minor changes.  I have no way of knowing which is the most current without opening and checking..

Even just the ability to hover the mouse over the file and the filename expanding in a smaller window would be a huge improvement, anything really.

That would be so helpful, as I have so many files with just a size variation and I have to open them all to find out which one is the right one. I would love that to be implemented

So is it true the only way to view the full name of a file is to open it and then mouse-over the tab? This is going to take me forever. Please allow mouse-over name display without having to open it.

You can view full file names without opening the part by right-clicking then hit 'rename'. Not ideal though.

+1 ...even a hover "bubble" would be really helpfull until there is time for a propper "fix".
