I agree with @paul. There is a need for a function to customize title block directly in Fusion 360.
At the moment I use a trial version of AutoCad LT to design my own title block. But after 30 days the trial time is over. For users without other CAD Systems it will be very difficult... For me Fusion is at the Moment not useable without AutoCad etc.
This seems like a critical update, not something that should be voted on. I'm having issues related to basic functionality of the built in title block within Fusion 360, to the point where the text is illegible and the drawings can't be finalized. I agree with markus_hb in that Fusion isn't current usable as a stand alone product without the basic functions working properly or the ability to fix things without piggybacking on another program like AutoCAD or Inventor.
This is something that is really, really needed... I don't have AutoCAD and I need a custom title block urgently...Fusion360 is such a great tool... The 2d drawings are so important to communicat all the ideas to e.g. manufacturers... Then the lack of exporting PDF with custom title block or even customized attributes are dissapointing, e.g. in the existing ISO title block there is not even an option that says "Units" or "Scale"... so...
The large struggle for non AutoCAD users is that vendors are requiring information on title blocks that isn't currently offered. My drawings are having to have a lot more notes. I could be quite a bit more efficient if I could just update my parts accordingly and then my drawings would also update. I could do this if I could customize my own title blocks and tables. I used to be able to do this with Solidworks. Is there a way to customize the title blocks and tables using the 2D function in Solidworks?
This is one of the main reasons why I still have to hang onto other CAD software packages (Inventor). The need for professional drawing outputs is critical. As others here have also mentioned, I have no access to AutoCAD.
