Special Notes inside Cam set up sheet

Special Notes inside Cam set up sheet

when I typed in the notes I wanted to be on the set up sheet,

I wrote it with specific spaces and gaps for things to be read easily.

This condenses it all into one endless paragraph very difficult to easily read.

Here is an image of how I wanted it.

and then the set up sheet posts it out trunked together.

I would like to be able to do 2 things.

Edit with spaces and post that way on the set up sheet.

And another difficult thing is while the notes are open and being typed I can't just go into my model

and verify dimentions as I am finalizing the note information.

I am locked into that window and I need to close it before doing anything else.

This was actually by desing to show comments as "compact"

That said, your example is a perfect example for multi-line comments.

We will add an option in the setup-sheet post to display comments as "compact" or "multi-line"

For those that didn't know, the setup sheets use the post system.

You can use this to leverage/create customize setup sheets.

The relevant setup sheets have been updated to always use preformatted text style for the notes. Will not make it into the upcoming November release though.

Not sure I understand this one. But you ask how to change this your self. If yes, then the posts (including setup sheets) are implemented in JavaScript. We dont expect most users to do this though. We provide the generic posts to match the requirements for most users. The more experiences users can then when desired make customization to match their specific requirements. However, most users should hopefully be happy with the features/capabilities with include by default. For this particular setup sheet is it simple a matter of outputting normal HTML code with the desired styling CSS. It is all based on open standards.

The post dialog Al showed above is only avilable on Windows for now. We have yet to merge the Mac and Windows UI for this but we will get there. You only have the most important the settings available on Mac - but not all of them.
