Request to bring sketch option into Fusion 360 drawing like in Inventor

Hey guys,

The recent updates of Fusion 360 have been doing really great. But one update that I am expecting to be brought especially into the drawing of Fusion 360 is the ability to do sketches on the drawing sheet itself. Which will be useful to draw PCD (pitch circles diameters) and making small corrections in the drawing itself rather updating in the part

Also the circular pattern for hole, should become a standard centerline feature, linked to the design, so if we modify the 3D, the pattern should be updated, number of holes, diameter of the circular pattern...

Yes, it is very necessary!

Drawing the right thing so far, because the contracts with customers has not been canceled. And sometimes it takes annotations and detail projections.

Thanks for bringing that up. sometimes we make a little modification in our drawing and it would be easier us,  if we can sketch in drawing sheet.

1. Exposing sketch geometry (but not sketch dimensions) in the Drawing views

2. Pattern Centermarks / centerline support (PCD full & partial circular patterns, slots & linear pattern support)

This is now available. Sketch geometry shows up in the browser, and you can turn them on / off just like in modeling.

The current sketch ability in drawings of Fusion 360 is just to turn on/off the sketches that we did during modelling . But the ability that I need is to create new sketches in the drawing itself. 

Could you please change the idea status to previous Accepted state

Hi @Aadithya01 - in your post you mention that you need this feature to draw PCDs, which we also included in a release last year, called the Centermark Pattern feature. 

If your request is for drawing other geometry, can you please elaborate and give an example of what you'd need to draw so that we can capture your request appropriately?

Thanks for changing the status back to Future consideration . 

Obviously the sketch option will be really useful . Firstly to label dimensions for inspection , to draw custom symbols and to making small corrections in the drawing projected view itself rather than updating in the part
