Re-Associating Dimensions

Re-Associating Dimensions

Dimensions seem to lose their associations A LOT.  Roll back your timeline, modify an assembly level driving sketch, redefine a feature that includes but does not change the attachment point in question and  > BOOM ! <  your drawing is now littered with un-associated dimensions and yellow flag warnings.  The most annoying part is there are 2 attachment points to a dimension and you have a 50/50 chance of picking the the one you think has gone wonky.

Can we get the failed association flag place - AT - the attachment failure instead of generically on the dimension?  Fixing problems is annoying but sometimes unavoidable.  Just need more bread crumbs to help resolve the issue...

UPDATE:  Ok, I guess I didn't understand the the 're-associate' process.  I can cycle through the picks and fix the problem without having to know which end of the dimension blew up.  Flag on the Dim is fine.  This is just a band-aid on the gunshot wound however.  Associations should be more robust IMO.

Thanks for the submission - this sounded like a performance issue. Does this work better now or are you seeing the same behavior?
