Regenerating Model / Drawing

Regenerating Model / Drawing

The option to force a regeneration / refresh of the model or a drawing should be available.  There are instances where the model and/or drawing are not up to date or in sync.  The system does not recognize the inconsistency or has not been triggered to recognize the inconsistency and there is no option to 'refresh' the model/drawing without doing something drastic like rolling back the timeline or etc.

For example... if you finished the day making changes to a model, save, and then close the program  ...and the next morning you open an associated component drawing first before opening the model, the drawing does not reflect the changes made to the model.  It's an out of date cashed copy.  There is no way to update / refresh the drawing without opening the model, then going back to the drawing to get the changed data warning and a button to refresh the drawing.

There are other instances where section reference changes that span multiple parts do not automatically trigger a regeneration of all the affected components either.  Forcing a regen triggers the system to refresh all dependent references.

It's hard to believe that this isn't baked into the program. When I make a change to the model and then go to the drawing to add dimensions (or to just see the change), there's no way to manually regenerate the drawing and the yellow icon to regenerate doesn't show up for many, many minutes. It's unusable this way. The original post is nearly two years old so I'm hoping that I'm just missing something...
