I see no reason why Increment Move is on by default.

As i see it, there are two mentalities for moving and rotating things:
- If I know how far I want to move something, I'll type the value it in the box.
- If I don't know how far I want to move it, I will drag it until it looks right. Then, if I am seeking round numbers, I'll view the offset and round it up by hand.
I think that the use-case of wanting to move somehting in 0.100"in. increments only is very obscure.
The 5° rotation snaps are equally strange, as a precise rotation would either be done by typing in the box or in much wider incremements. A shift-hold for 45° increments would be very useful, and is present in Illustrator and Rhino.
Additionally, Until today when I researched the question, I thought there was no way to turn it off. I was shown the setting by a coworker. Rotations and moves were very frustrating, especially when working at a small scale.
