It is a major pain to need to click through the fonts one by one for text. It would be very nice if you could just scroll with the arrow keys and have it scroll through the fonts one by one displaying the text on the screen in that font so you can see how it looks.
Would love to see this feature, just had this thought myself (3 years later ) . A "nice to have" feature would be allowing scroll with the mouse scroll wheel, but arrows would certainly be preferred to current solution.
Autodesk, please do this. It is such a simple fix that would make using the text function so much easier. Given the large amounts of fonts having to open the dropdown menu everytime I want to see what a different one looks like is very tedious and time consuming.
