(non-destructive) T-Spline mode

(non-destructive) T-Spline mode

I would LOVE to have a mode where I can just model with T-Splines (preferably with history) and without losing my T-Spline mesh to an auto-convert-to-nurbs and not being able to easily keep tweaking my T-Spline mesh!

I just want T-Spline modeling without losing my T-Splines and without it being exclusive to a separate mode where if you exit it, you lose all T-Splines.

Basically like in Speedform. It would be AWESOME.

It looks terrible when you want to delete the model history, especially when you making symmetry, to modify the sculpt and re-bake symmetry again to get the model fixed ... mean while there are some sync issue while going through the design, and you find yourself with a mess not a model when you try to fix errors 😞

The design history should probably be captured in an edit form where the user can decide to add/ tag one on the timeline. In the end the desired workflow should be something similar to an Edit poly modifier in other polygonal modellers.
