I think fusion 360 is a great program, but the file navigation system makes me ill. I absolutely hate the awful visual clutter of the system, and the inconvenience of trying to find files in a system besides my native file explorer. I back up all my files with google drive and am comfortable with the online UI, but with google drive I can also link all files to my local system providing for excellent convenience. I wish fusion had a similar setup wherein you could store all files to the cloud, but also access them through conventional file navigation systems. The existing UI is just too cumbersome and cluttered. 

From my perspective fusions file UI is the single most aggravating aspect of the program, but I can't store my files any other way! This forced awkward conformity to creating "projects" and have to look at distractions like example files is horrendous, please develop a more comprehensive file system that doesn't force me to bend over backwards. Thank you!

I'm also looking for an answer to this. The way our business works doesn't allow for unsearchable projects and a clunky UI.

I need fusion360s file management to include a robust heirarchy, in which the search feature searches names, descriptions, and tags, of all files.

I need projects and subfolders to have names, descriptions, and tags. (eg: customer, date, description line 1,2,3,4... )

I need the ability to create a link to the project that would cause it to open within the fusion360 environment and not a360 browser interface.

I need all people in my company to have access to all projects associated with us by default.

I need this UI to handle multiple thousands of 'projects', each with hundreds of files containing many different filetypes. JPEGs, PDFs, DXFs, DWGs, etc. and have it all be completely searchable.

If this ever happens, fusion360 absolutely gets my money.
