This is my first Fusion 360 post, so I'd like to say - as someone who uses Catia V5 on a daily basis - that Fusion 360 is a great product. It seems very intuitive, pretty comprehensive and incredible value. Of course, it's evolving all the time, which is another standout feature. It's very exciting to be given the chance to contribute to its future.
So, Autodesk bought NASTRAN and implemented the solver into Fusion. They then bought DELCAM, and implemented the code into Fusion. Autodesk also bought Within which allows the user to create an optimised internal lattice structure (using the NASTRAN solver). Autodesk has recently bought Netfabb, which specialises in preparation of products for 3D printing.
Now that Autodesk has all the tools at its disposal, when will the ability to create an optimised internal lattice structure be imlpemented (in some form) into Fusion 360? Go on Autodesk, tell me that it's going to happen!
