Yeah, I have HSMXpress so I use the editor that came with it (which is just a re-branded Cimco editor). It's WAY better than the brackets editor that comes with Fusion. The problem is that Cimco doesn't have a MAC version so the MAC users would be out of luck.
I don't know if there even is a Gcode specific editor for MAC at all.
thank's @al.whatmough I like the hole thing it would be good just to have the HSM one.
brackets as it is now is a wast of spaces to me it is useliss no copy, past to much missing. I just use notepad++ to do any Gcode editing even the Gcode editor in Mach4 is better.
The syntax highlighting is nice, as is backplotting (though I never use it). But what I like about HSMEdit is that I can send files directly to the machine over RS-232.
I like editing my gcode because some of the POST Processor elements do not put M1 stops where I want them and I also like to add a remove the tool from the spindle as my final step before the program ends, but the POST Processor does not have an option to add this. What I am saying is that editing a POST is not always issues with the code being posted sometimes its to add in callouts for macros or to tweak stops or other features for user preference. Brackets makes it very difficult to do anything, where as the HSM Edit tool is fantastic.
