Create text on curve

Hi,

I dont think I need to add anything to this. I really think that this is missing from Fusion. I know there is a workarnound through Inkscape, but thats not really a solution. Fusion should have this option in Text creating.

1. Create curve

2. Apply text to it

Will it soon be possible to get single line font to follow a path. I haven't been able to get Inkscape to do this as cam bam fonts don't seem to  be recognised as text. I’m hoping that fusion 360 will soon have a text to path feature soon.

Has anyone else had any luck getting single line font to follow a path?

STILL waiting on this feature. Having to create the text in Illustrator (or inkscape, ick!) and then export out to then import into F360 is possible, but a total PITA. This feature seems like it would be so trivial to implement. 😞

I would love to see this feature implemented as I am trying to make a circular logo and havent figured out how to do it outside of fusion.

You can use inkscape and import as a sketch. It's just a huge pain.

Yes, I know. But that's still only two dimensional, want to wrap text AROUND
things in all three dimensions, like is possible in 3dsMax.

We, this text on a curve ticket was intended for in plane curving only.
Definitely more options needed, 3 years ago i needed this in olane curving
so i wrote this ticket.

I wrote a similar request some time ago too. Text on a path, and the path
can be 3d. But apparently this has a low priority.
