Drill reverse & dwell to remove chips from tool

Drill reverse & dwell to remove chips from tool

Hi guys, this is not a new idea but something I think would be super beneficial as an option thru programming drill cycles.

Getting rid of the nest that sometimes forms due to stringy chips, when chip breaking cycles just don't do the trick..

The ol' spindle reverse and dwell at the retract plane (user definable), then continuing on the next drill cycle as normal.

HAAS has this feature and explain more here:

an easy "solution" is to use a manual passthrough code after your drill cycle - something like:

Z50.
S1000 M04
G04 P2000

The only issue with this is that it won't do it between holes if you have multiple holes in the one drill cycle, it'll only do it after. but it's a workaround that's worked for me.

Just made a edit to the Post Processor to add the E2000 to each section of the drilling cycles.

I'll add an option on the menu at some point so I can make it optional, until then If i dont need it I'll just use the standard PP not my modified one.
