Change default settings in CAM, and save as default with Right Mouse Click
Wouldn't it be nice to be able to select your settings, change them to what YOU actually use to work, and be able to save them AS YOUR DEFAULT settings with a simple Right Click of your mouse.
You know it would.
Imagine; Clearance heights, lead in's and lead outs, cutter compensation type.... The list is endless.
Don't know if you know this but on fields you input numbers if you right click there's an option Make Default. Some setting can't be set like this, for these you need to setup an op so all the settings are how you like them, right click the op in the browser and there's an option Make default.
Also within an op or a Setup if you right click in a number field you get the Make All default option.
Hi That's close, but I'm not looking to set specific NUMBERS as the defaults, that seems risky... I'm more interested in setting things like origins, etc. I will explore this more though, as it is close to what I need. Was not aware of this feature. Must have been right clicking in the wrong areas. Thanks!! John
