Imported Model Sheet Metal Conversion

Imported Model Sheet Metal Conversion

I work with a group of people all using different CAD systems. Many projects involve some bent sheet metal parts. Having the ability to convert a STEP model that was previously a sheet metal part into a sheet metal part in Fusion would be very handy for creating dxf files for cut tables and templates. Currently I have to transfer them to other programs that can accomplish this.

Same here. I have a collection of CAD drawings in various formats that are almost all sheet metal objects, some drawn by me and others collaborative files from partner companies. Importing the sheet metal into F360 results in a body in the Model workspace, with no option I can see to switch to the sheet metal workspace and edit the object. This makes it useless to me as anything more than just a picture.

Dammit, I hate double posting, especially when I need to update it. If anyone can delete one of the posts above, please do so.

Capturing design history enables the Sheet Metal workspace, but the objects that have been imported are not treated as sheet metal. I can't add a flange, for example.
